Odin Cafe+Bar
Met up with a friend from high school at this cafe-by-day bar-by-night spot.
The logo and the name both make it pretty clear that this place is Nordic-inspired.
It shows in the interiors - lot's of white paired with natural wood accents.
Empanadas - basically hot pockets from Portugal.
Swore I was looking at taiyaki instead for a second, but nope, it's not a fish.
Latte art ❤
My friend to the left here dutifully doing his job to document the food - I did the same thing of course, but with a much larger camera.
Service was very welcoming - Kouhei is really a cheery guy.
Looked like a great place to get studying done, if it wasn't an hour's commute from home.
Totally geeked out over these Bertoia Diamond chairs. One benefit from just finishing the History of Modern Design course is the ability to recognize designer furniture and talk my head off about them. Just checked it and these chairs retail for $1000.
The food is good for a light snack, but if you're looking for something filling it'd get a little pricy (beyond my meager student ability to afford them, anyway). Who am I kidding though, this interior is kickass and the atmosphere in the store makes it a great place to meet up.
