Actually Orange
Acrylic on Canvas
24" x 24"

The optimal viewing distance for this piece is 10 metres back. But in all seriousness, this was my second ever acrylic painting, and it turned out surprisingly well. It helps show how my technical skill in dry media such as pencil and pencil crayon translates over to painting with a brush, especially when it comes down to replicating details. I named it Actually Orange because "red" as we know it actually has a large amount of yellow in it, which became a large part of my palette while I was painting the piece.
