SQ1 Con | 02 - Doing Tourist Things
I spent the day before the conference taking a look around town.
The sheer scale of this building shocked me, but apparently not any Chicago natives as they walked by nonchalantly...
First stop was the Chicago Cultural Center.
Make big plans. Make no little plans.
I feel personally attacked.
Ceramic art work at its finest.
I too, went to art school. But this is a little much for me.
That triangle is the real tourist destination.
There are so many modes of transport along the river. If only there was someone biking too, it would've really made the shot.
Probably the fanciest Wallgreen's I've ever set my eyes on.
Apparently Peet's Coffee is a thing in the States? I don't think I've ever seen one until I found this one in Chicago.
I just can't get enough of the overhead trains here. More cities need this.
I didn't end up going on any of the overhead lines though. The underground life for me.
